Music has become a vocation of this parish and an integrated part of our Sunday worship. Mrs. Patricia Constantinos began the Christ Church Senior Choir in the late 1960's and over the years, under her direction, choir members grew in their musical competence and ability to work as a team. This led the way for the introduction of a variety of new and challenging music to be added to the choirs' repertoire new and challenging music to be added to the choirs' repertoire..(add)  Mrs. Constantinos retired in 1999.

Under the direction of Miss Ruth Jefferson, a wide variety of music a wide variety of music including Bach, Mozart, Schubert, folk tunes, spirituals, gospel songs, contemporary praise music and traditional church anthems can be heard at Christ Church. As members of the choir have grown in their commitment to Jesus, the music has become an expression of praise, adoration, longing, hope and love for the Lord. God's Spirit leads the congregation as they worship each Sunday and inspires all to grow in singing songs of praise to magnify God.

At rehersals, Miss Ruth Jefferson, Choir Director, has guided the choir to explore at rehearsals, our choir director guides the thirteen-member choir to explore the spiritual and musical interpretation of each anthem. To many at Christ Church, it is believed that singing is praying twice to the Lord.

JUNIOR CHOIR AND FAMILY CHOIR

Periodically we have had an abundance of young people who loved to sing. At those times the Junior Choir would sing occasionally and also at the Christmas Epiphany Pageants. The Family Choir sings in worship once a month and is composed of children, Senior Choir members and some members of the congregation. The music is more childlike, but the enthusiasm of praise abounds!
